DOJ Settlement with Stockton Unified School District: Good Step Forward, But Not Far Enough

The recent California Department of Justice complaint and settlement with the Stockton Unified School District is a good step forward in addressing serious discriminatory practices against the black and brown students, and students with disabilities, but it doesn’t go far enough in removing SROs from campus.
